Turning

We dispose with a 4-axis Turning centre with CNC, brand DMG, for mechanical processing of medium-dimensional details. The ability of the machine to perform both turning and milling operations in one setting of the material is of extremely high importance. This contributes to improving the quality of the performed work and their repetition in serial products.

The 4-axis lathe control system with which we dispose CNC DMG CTX 510 ecoline, SIEMENS 840D and the precision of the mechanical part positioning enable the high precise production of details, such as: cylindrical parts, shafts, turning parts, and others.

We process a wide range of materials such as brass, black and stainless steel, aluminium and plastic.

Upon turning is performed a complete processing of metal surfaces with one setting and without replacement of the machine tools. Mechanical processing enables the creation of highly precise and medium-dimensional details. The turning is one of the most common method of processing by cutting. It is carried out on metal machine tools - lathes using cutting tools - turning knives. By turning is performed scraping of external rotary surfaces, scraping of internal rotating surfaces, trimming of face surfaces, cutting, grooving, threading and processing of complex surfaces. Upon turning, the main movement is rotatable and it is transferred to the workpiece, and the knife receives a feed movement that can be rectilinear or curvilinear under a given curve.

By turning it can be achieved a 6-grade machining accuracy and roughness of the treated surfaces Ra = 0.63 μm. Upon using diamond knives, the accuracy of processing can be brought to 5-grade, and roughness to be reduced to Ra = 0.32 μm.
